Sketchbook

Some pages from a new sketchbook I've started. Playing around with ink.

Also the latin is a quote (supposedly) from Apelles and also the motto from the Art Students League. Nulla dies sine linea - no day without a line.

Painting

Hey! Haven't updated this thing in some time now, so hey, why not some paintings? I'm a bit tentative about posting these as, well, I still have a lot to learn in painting and I feel like it shows in the work.

This is all work from last semester.

More sketchbook playtime. This time it's mostly pastel and watercolor with a little bit of ink thrown around where it felt necessary.

Ink Experiments

Some ink experiments on a couple old/failed portrait night drawings.

I'm pretty happy with them.

Bones

Some sketchbook left over from the summer. A little bit of figure from the Art Students League, a little bit of figure from the Society of Illustrators, and a little bit of apartment in Michigan. The scans are a little funny, oh well.
