Beholderettes

Oh you know, just your everyday teenage hipster beholders with prosthetic bodies and wigs, trying to fit in.  Normal stuff.

Sheepy sheepy!

A little sheepy sheepy I sculpted last year for the very merry art trade on twitter!

A Straggler

Easily the best boss fight in the series.

I never got around to finishing Decoy Octopus when I was doing these before but the Konami feature seemed like as good an excuse as any to dig up the WIP and finish it out.

Little moving critters!!

I've been fiddling around with animating little shape critters.  Still have a lot to figure out but man oh man is it a good time.

Hoofdog!

So I've really been enjoying tumblr lately - if you prefer tumbls to bloggers I keep a tumblr parallel to this over here: http://roboch.tumblr.com/ - and I really quite like the idea of reblogs and all of that.  I'm not such a huge fan of mixing reblogs in with original content though so I made a little reblog blog for blogging reblogs that I share with my good pal Christina Ellis (available on the internet at these fine locations redredundance , skellopia , skelliotrope ).

So anyway, these are some little doots I made to tart up the reblog blog (which lives here: http://hoofdog.tumblr.com/ ).

Legibility is for chumps.

Light Gray Art Lab - Message in a Bottle

Recently I was invited to participate in a gallery show at the Light Gray Art Lab in Minneapolis.  The theme was Message in a Bottle - as in artwork which “focuses on hidden images, coded language, and extreme detail in the artwork.”
This image is about something, if a little too cryptic, I promise.
Anyway I’m super excited and honored to be part of a show with so many talented people involved.  You can see some of the other work (and buy prints?!?) over here!
