Full Metal Beard

It all seems harmless enough.  A symbiotic relationship, a partnership.  One feeds the other, they both stand to gain something.

However, as the balance is disrupted, and the beards grow stronger, they begin to overwhelm their hosts... take control.

 There is no hope.  There is no escape.  Only beards.

There will be more of this.

Cowboys! Aliens! ... other... things?

So LAIKA/house runs a weekly creative challenge and this week the task was to draw cowboys and/or aliens (cowboy aliens/alien cowboys also acceptable) in response to Cowboys and Aliens.  You know that movie thing.  Here, then, are some of mine:

All around I've been doing a lot of experimenting:  playing with fancy brushes, messing with layer modes, drawing things I wouldn't usually.  Good times.

Goatbirds and other doots

 

Once upon a time there were goatbirds.  One day, their story shall be told.  This is not that day.  I apologize for their ridiculous appearance, they were camera captured after all.
