When we last saw our hero tragedy had struck.  His mighty steed and friend Spacehorse was taken by the ferocious Spacetroll, surely to be devoured!  

With the journey through the space cave nearly complete and Spacehorse’s fate certainly sealed should Spaceman accept the grim reality and soldier on, or climb down into the abyss on the sliver of a chance that there is still hope for his loyal companion?

As if there was ever really any doubt.  Spaceman soldiers on.

Further Space Draculas!

And to top off all the Dracula we have some Dracuspressions.  Dracmotions.  Draceelings.  errr something like that.

Space Dracula, Dear Reader

Dear Readers, I present to you Spaceman's arch nemesis: The Space Draculas!  Pure evil! Sort of adorable!

There's a half constructed plot that runs around all those pictures involving kidnapped Space Princesses, space swords, space fashion dilemmas, lonely space trolls in space caves, and obviously space vampires that may become coherent at some point.  Right now it's just a pile of ridiculous ideas which is perfectly ok by me.  There's another batch or two of Space Draculas on the way.

Also I was poking around in my documents working on my portfolio the other day and I found this little WIP from this painting here and thought - "man, I like that little thing" and so now it's here.  By itself like a big kid.

The Further Adventures of Spaceman and Spacehorse!

Picking up in one of the many places I've left off, we find our heroes entering a cave.  You know, that one cave from that other picture.

There actually is some vague semblance of a narrative that goes with all of this Spaceman business.  Conveniently for the viewer I have so far delivered it entirely out of order, with tremendous gaps, and nowhere near enough information to actually build anything out of.

I may or may not fix that.

Spaceman and Spacehorse: In the forest of mystery!

Today we find our heroes in great peril.  Deep in the spaceforest of spacemystery they find themselves surrounded...

And, as is becoming a habit here is an excessive number of excessively sized details:

The Robot Graveyard Revisited

A quiet moment on some journey or another that takes Spaceman and his equine companion Spacehorse through the Forest of Forgotten Robots, where old robots go to die.  There's more to this, but that's for later.

More experimenting.  Probably coming back to this one later.

Spaceman and Spacehorse in: The Sand Giants of Space!

We rejoin Spaceman and his magnificent steed Spacehorse in the midst of a quest to rescue the Solar Bears from certain doom (we'll come back to that later, I sort of kind of not really promise).  In order to reach their destination our brave heroes must cross the perilous Spacedesert, and with it - through the territory of the fearsome sand giants.  Alternatively Spacesand Spacegiants, but that doesn't really seem to roll of the tongue quite right.

 
Included:  A number of absurdly high resolution details.  Because I thought they were neat.

Castle Spacenstein!

Hello internet!  Things have been very busy on my end of things lately.  Reasons for business include/have included but are not limited to: a car crash! (fortunately nothing serious), a gallery opening! (unfortunately nothing serious), freelance and more!  Regardless of any of that, here is some more SPACE!

The most likely extraordinarily beautiful Spaceprincess has been abducted, and Spaceman and Spacehorse are on the case (spacecase? is that too much?).  This is for some reason obviously the handiwork of the dread Space Dracula... who is honestly, despite the odd bit of abduction here or there, generally regarded as a pretty nice guy.

The culprit is clear and so is the crime, but the question remains ... why?
So our heroes journey to Castle Spacenstein for answers.

More Spacestuff!

Upon entering the space cave our heroes, Spaceman and Spacehorse, find themselves separated from one another during an exciting and dramatic sequence involving a bridge and some bat creatures (not pictured).  Spaceman then wanders the caverns for weeks (weeks!) in search of his dear companion, only to find him in great peril!  

Apparently locked in combat!  Attempting to fend off the mighty Spacetroll!  What will become of our beloved equine adventurer?  Find out next time (note:  that is unlikely) on the adventures of SPACEMAN AND SPACEHORSE:  IN SPACE!

Oh dear

So!  Man, haven't posted anything in a while now... 

There are many many things in the oven right now, but nothing fully cooked quite yet.

So, well, here's a little piece of a piece.  By little i mean cropped, certainly not image size.  It's actually a rather tremendously large image.  I mean, well, ugh.  Click it, it'll make sense.

And there is this.  Which is also a small piece of a piece.  The other thingy, that thingy I didn't describe well, that pertains to this also.

Spaceman and Spacehorse!

With this image we may commence a series of images concerning teh adventures of Spaceman and Spacehorse as they wander the mysterious kingdom of SPACE.  So I'm trying out a whole pile of things here, and I'm not entirely convinced that they're all working.  We'll see.

In addition, of course, we have more sketchbook.  Some box foxes and some Draculas, because you always need more Draculas.
