Here's a thing for cup'o'doodle!  I may have gotten a little carried away with this one.  You can see it with the doodle it came from over here.

In all the mucking about with photoshop I made some effects which I thought were pretty neat - I wound up toning it down quite a bit in the final image but here are some little detail shots with it cranked all the way up:

Assorted Doodles and Sketches

Doodles and sketches!  Sketches and doodles!  The following are things I've done for another blog I post on -  Cup o' Doodle.

Annnnnnnd I've recently been made aware of the joy of drawing on sticky notes, which I might start making a habit of.

In other news I  (far more covertly than intended) attended CTN out in sunny Burbank and had an absolutely fantastic time.  It was lovely meeting all of you wonderful people that I met and seeing all of those wonderful people that I already knew!

Cowboys! Aliens! ... other... things?

So LAIKA/house runs a weekly creative challenge and this week the task was to draw cowboys and/or aliens (cowboy aliens/alien cowboys also acceptable) in response to Cowboys and Aliens.  You know that movie thing.  Here, then, are some of mine:

All around I've been doing a lot of experimenting:  playing with fancy brushes, messing with layer modes, drawing things I wouldn't usually.  Good times.

Cup o' Doodle!

Hello again internet!  Quite a bit of jumbling going on in the whole... life ... thing right now.  As regularity returns, it is likely that so will the internet posting of things that I make.  I am making quite a pile of things right now, but they're mostly things that are TOP SECRET due to PROPER EMPLOYMENT (which I'm quite excited about).  Still though, things get made on the side

In any case, on to things that might actually interest people.  I've recently joined a blorg curated by a Mr. Don Flores, annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd it's called Cup o' Doodle and lives over here.   It involves making drawings out of little abstract fiddly bits, is a great deal of fun, and here are some things I drew for it.
