_.. .._ ._. ._. .... .._ ._. ._. .... .._ ._. ._.
One watercolor and one gouache piece. This was my first time with gouache and it was honestly pretty neat stuff, nice, forgiving and easy to control. Watercolor and I, on the other hand, have a long and sorted history of not really getting along... I think this is probably the first time I've managed to actually make watercolor do what I want it to... sort of.
Also, I was talking to a friend about how gouache was spelled versus how gouache was pronounced. I wound up breaking it down to "gwash" which eventually we mutated to G-Wash, which is, of course, what you call gangster George Washington.
Then this happened:

Norse code, hee hee hee. Love the concept a lot, and I feel that the watercolor was much more successful in execution. G'wash? Your so silly!
ReplyDeleteGouache may be more forgiving, but it's too dark to see the details. I vote for the watercolor, too. You were less tempted to play with it.
ReplyDeleteyes, you certainly look more comfortable with watercolor despite your disagreements. Great label on the booze, hehe.
