Fantastic Mr. Fox!

Another drawing for the Character Redesign Thingy (official title, clearly) over at Ten Paces and Draw!  This bi-weeks theme was Wes Anderson movies so I drew myself a Mr. Fox (of Fantastic fame).  Had a lot of fun playing around with that demented steamboat willy / Disney look and faking an ink look.

Ten Paces and Draw: The Avengers!

I did two for the folks over at Ten Paces and Draw this time around, the theme was The Avengers.  First we have a romantic moment for Thor:

And the Black Widow.  I think my favorite part of the movie was when she caught that guy in her web and ate him.  That happened.

I totally saw the movie I swear.

Ten Paces and Draw: Elle Driver

Hello internet!  Here's an Elle Driver from Kill Bill I did for the character redesign feature over at Ten Paces and Draw!  Was thinking about snakes.  Anyway, you can see the whole feature over here!

Also there is this thing here, which is part of a thing.  Sorry to be super secret preview jerk-face but that's what I'm going to do, so hah.

LAIKA/House work!

I'm a little late posting these but here are a bunch of commercials I worked on with LAIKA last summer!  I'm not allowed to show any of the paintings/designs or the little bit of sculpting I did directly, but I can show the commercials themselves, so here they are:







For the Toys R Us spots I painted backgrounds and designed props and parade floats.  They don't get a lot of screentime, but I got to design some wacky Seussian unicycles for the elves etc. to ride around on which were really fun.



For the Honda spot I designed the St. Louis and the Yosemite (the foresty one at the end) sets, sculpted the little jogger in the suburban set, painted the little cartoon on the TV in the car and helped with type layout.
