I've been re-arranging/compiling my portfolio over the last couple days and I stumbled on a couple figure sculptures I never got around to posting. The top one was the first chance I ever really got to take my time with a sculpture, definitely a really great experience. Both sculptures are approximately 24 inches tall.

At the Mountains of Beard
With a hunger that knows no end, the beard expands, extends, inhabits, animates. The man no longer grows the beard, the beard grows the man. The beard grows the horse, the troll, the house, the countryside. The beard grows all.
Don't ask where that house/beard found a mace that big - I don't know the answer to that question.
In other news, we have a guest viking today from the marvelous Christina Ellis!
Yes.

Full Metal Beard
It all seems harmless enough. A symbiotic relationship, a partnership. One feeds the other, they both stand to gain something.
However, as the balance is disrupted, and the beards grow stronger, they begin to overwhelm their hosts... take control.

There is no hope. There is no escape. Only beards.
There will be more of this.
